Jal Mahal in Jaipur lake
Around 1610, Raja Man Singh dammed the river to create the artificial Man Sagar lake.
Within lies the Jal Mahal, which means Water Palace.
It is a five story building, but four are flooded when the lake is full.
The palace is closed to visitors, but there is a wide promenade along the shore, bustling with people.
I would have loved to talk with them and take photos, but everyone was worried about coronavirus and I was wearing my face mask.
I dearly want to go back some day, when things are carefree once again.
