Sidewalk clothing shops

Everywhere we went in India, we saw people wearing unique, colorful clothing. I can't stand brand names, logos, and advertising, and thankfully all that seems relatively less important here.

Every city and small town had plenty of little shops, many of them selling clothes, but Shagzil had previously suggested that Jaipur was the best place for fabric shopping.

Unfortunately, it's very difficult to judge where to buy in such an exotic, far-flung destination.
