Gardening in the Mehtab Bagh

This woman is cutting the grass with a short hand blade. She's keeping the garden in shape, but that's probably not her goal.

At tourist attractions across India, people come for money. Shagzil asked us not to give to beggars, explaining that the government is trying to discourage it. So people dress in photogenic outfits, ready for photographers like me.

In Times Square, Americans do the same thing. Except that in my country, they dress up as Mickey Mouse and Spiderman!

After taking this photo, I gave her a handful of rupee coins.
