Public health doctor

When we arrived at the airport in India, each of us filled out a health questionnaire. They also put an infrared thermometer to our foreheads for our temperatures.

This procedure was repeated each time we arrived at a new hotel. Even when we didn't travel, we had our temperatures checked almost every day.

Usually, this was all done by the hotel staff. But when we arrived at the Dera Village Retreat, a public health doctor was waiting for us complete with stethoscope. Fortunately, none of us ever failed the test.
