Wild Monkey

I'm a fan of Monkey Thieves. The show portrays a troop of rhesus macaques in the city of Jaipur, and their adventures raiding apartments for food, etc.

So we were on the lookout for wild monkeys as we traveled. We often spotted them in nearby trees or on rooftops, but Shagzil explained that they can be quite unfriendly, or even dangerous.

We encountered this one walking along the fence behind the Mini Taj. I approached close enough for this photo, but then quickly backed off. I got away without anything stolen!
