Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah

This mausoleum was built in the 1620s by Queen Nur Jahan as a memorial to her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg.

It was the first monument in India built entirely in marble rather than red sandstone. Though we called it the “Mini Taj”, it was built before the Taj Mahal and inspired it.
