Taj Mahal from the Mehtab Bagh

The Taj Mahal borders the Yamuna River in the city of Agra. Directly across from the Taj is the Mehtab Bagh. That's a garden following the layout of the Quran's gardens of paradise.

We visited at sunset for our first view of the Taj. This photo shows an archaeology area at the edge of the garden. The river lies hidden below, then the far bank beyond, and of course the back side of the Taj Mahal.
