Praying at the Harshat Mata

While we were at the temple, this woman came to pray. In a small alcove to the side of the main altar, she poured white milk over a small dome on the floor.

This is a ritual called Abhishekam. She is offering rich ingredients that are a sign of purity to the Hindu deity. She used milk because cows are sacred.
